Practically all the comments i've heard about Khaw's talk were negative. At the very least i thought the talk was useful for getting a quick summary of what the situation is like out there, what are the issues on people's minds. By the way, i'm toying with the idea of being a sucker, though it's still way too early to say.
Screwed my shoulder playing judo on thursday and it was aching like ^%$ the next day. Had to use the backpack's strap as an improvised sling on the walk to school to avoid the joint shaking about making irritating popping noises.
Ran into Jiayu the other day, almost couldn't recognise her. Seems like it's been such a long time.

hahaha... u know wad caused me to dislocate too right? it was just a simple act of trying to sit down in the LT. and yes.. i am pretty aware of it.. since it still hurts a little now and then. sigh... i never did physiotherapy... which was prob a mistake. but anyway... will take good care of knee cap.. thanx for the concern!
annnndddd.... i gotta say that e minister talk is totally... #*$&!_@#. i shud have ponned it... (tats if i was daring enough thou..) HURMPH. totally pour cold water on US, pharmacist... we shudn't even be there! i bet they just made us go to make up the numbers!
NOT to mention that i took the 3rd 96 bus cuz the first 2 were so crowded... and somemore... 3rd one can board is becuz i walked to the busstop further away!! AND i was still so squashed in the bus. :(
still.. i am happy subway opened in NUS... more of my doc choc cookies to come! *sweet smile* i promise i will TRY not to fight for it w allen the nxt time we spot 2 of them only.
meanwhile.. jia you ppl for the new year as well as new sem! *shakes pom pom*
miss ya all! really hope to meet up reeeeeaaaal soon since movie+dinner nvr came true.

So did the relevant people go watch the breakup yesterday? How was it?
By the way, there was this med student who kena'ed the same injury as MQ. Dislocated her knee while standing up at the bus stop yesterday. Frankly, i'm still quite amazed at how it can happen without any prior injuries. So far that's the third one i've come across.
MQ must do more physiotherapy to strengthen her leg muscles, otherwise the injury will come back to haunt her when she's an old woman. =p

Argh.. my posting streak was broken!
i've been getting home at unearthly hours for 4 straight days (bcos of CCA, tuition, driving, etc). Dead tired. i was so sian i collected 2 immediate failures plus 30 over demerit points in one hour of driving. Haha... damn funny...
Ok, i'll remind MQ's favourite junior's counselor to be extra nice and shower her with tender loving care. Dun worry, he's a nice guy.

It's almost 3am and i just got home. Very long story.
Anyway, first day of school. Intro lectures ended 1030, but felt too bo liao so spent 2 hours waiting with a classmate for his counselee. Turned out that the counselee is Shuhui from VJCO. Singapore is too small.
36 VJ people got in med this year. That's a lot compared to past years. Dunno any of them besides Shuhui. Best thing is there's this guy who i suspect might be the one whose arm i broke a few years back. Haha... Dunno what to say if i run into him.
Ok, NUS people have fun at Rag and Flag if you're going. SAF people... well, just have fun.

Biomed quiz is finally over. VJ finished 4th, reportedly just a fraction of a point behind third-placed NJ. A good result if you ask me.
Must say i'm getting good at spotting questions, managed to guess 2 out of the 3 case studies used in the finals. Too bad we didn't get to capitalise on that. =p
Haha... i think i've done enough teaching for a while. Can't say i didn't like it, think i just need a break. Time to do some studying myself. Maybe i'll do it again next year if my schedule permits, though i doubt it. Things are going to get a bit more hectic.
