Aiyoh, don't you like to go on about how sweet you are anyway mQ? That's why Gwee made yours extra sweet. :P :P
And Gwee, that scenario so totally doesn't happen now when you're a second year soldier. Like what water parade? Even when our officers tell us to specifically water parade at so and so for SOC or whatever nonsense no one bothers unless they actually follow up... Btw 2nd year soldier damn relax, basically they do nothing the whole day unless something crops up. (Like ATEC for me & JianHua...) I mean my bunkmate sleeping opposite me is a PC runner (basically carries a signal set) and he sleeps the whole day! I mean, what the hell? I distinctively remember sleeping too much is bad for health.
Anyhow to all the uni people all the best for your results yeah?

Ok, got it. I'll fix it. Just thought of a new way to process the thingy. I'm almost 79.66% sure i'll get it right this time. But i've got to shelf any new ice cream plans until next week bcos of this communications module i have been taking this week.
It's a crash course by the business school which i have to pass to graduate. 4 lectures and 4 tutorials in all before the exam. Cool right? If only all my subjects were thought this way.
Back to studies... exam tomorrow...

oh... gwee. here is ur feedback for ur icecream.
firstly... i have no idea y it took so long for ur melted icecream to freeze back.. so i took it in e semi-melted state....
taste still okay... can tell its cookies and creme. BUT. too sweet! it was REALLY the sweetest ice cream tat i ever had. i think maybe u can cut back on sugar... :)

wow didn't know i had been lagging so much behind. when was the last time i visited the class blog? seems like eons ago. lol. i kept thinking that this blog was so stagnant, it had cobwebs growing le (hmm..cobwebs dont actually "grow", or do they?) ..but..wow..i was wrong. hahaha. kuku master making ice cream! wah. anyway, my cousin said that she went for this one day ice cream making course organised by her sch, when they wanted to freeze it they poured liquid nitrogen over it. haha. nus has this newzealand icecream stall at YIH. havent tried it though..shall go there one day when sch reopens. that will be..hmmm...aug? not actually looking forward to attending sch leh. am having a great time stoning at home.

Cookies and cream batch 2 was a mini success. Managed to sort out most of the problems with the first batch. Mixed the cookie bits into the icecream mixture by hand (as opposed to blender. Don't worry, i used a spoon.) Now it's properly white with black cookie bits and tastes great (at least in my opinion).
Still needs some finetuning though. The cookie bits tend to float on the icecream mix so the top half of the ice cream kind of looks and tastes different from the bottom half. Will probably have to stir the ice cream after freezing for a while to mix it up thoroughly. Might be a bit sweet, this batch. People with a sweet tooth will like it. Anyway, will adjust accordingly. Ran out of ingredients also.
p.s. Just thought of how to solve the ice cream delivery problem. Can borrow the fridge in the staffroom.

Impossible to take to VJ without melting lah, Mq... i don't live at neptune court. Best i can do is let you bring home to freeze again. No, actually it's possible. i just need you to provide dry ice or some form of portable refrigeration.
Anyway the cookies and creme project has met with some setbacks. I can't get the white ice cream with black spots look right. The white ice cream mixture will turn totally black when i blend in the oreo cookies. The cream in the cookies also refuses to dissolve properly.
What i'll probably do to remedy that is to freeze the ice cream mixture first before mixing the cookie bits in by hand. The bits will be bigger too compared to using the electric blender. Then again the white ice cream is itself pretty nice so i might just forget about the cookies. Or i can just cheat and surf the net for a proper recipe. See how it goes.
One last thing. i don't think "Mq's Nuts" would sound very appetising for an ice cream. But i'll think about the peanut butter and almond thing.
