Cookies and cream almost successful. Just need to apply the main points learnt from the previous 2 batches of tim tam ice cream to oreos. I would expect an edible batch later this week after the experimental batch tomorrow.
Flavours i've tried out: Tim Tam "Biscuits & Cream", Mocha, Chocolate Frozen Yoghurt, Chocolate-Banana-Nuts-Raisins-Thingy (???), Apricot & Pistachio Frozen Yoghurt, Cocoa & Peanut Butter (This one i ended up using as a spread for toast. Homemade Nutella.), Plain-Old Frozen Milo/Ribena/100-Plus/Honey/Orange Juice with Fruits (More like popsicles rather than icecream.)

Flavours i'm thinking of trying: Something-With-The-Nougat-Thingy (i've only thought of one ingredient. Waiting for the rest to fall into place), maybe something local like Redbean or Chendol (Main problem with this is cooking the red bean - troublesome)

haha... i must be psychic.
The batch i just threw in the freezer happens to be cookies and cream.
(Or rather, it's suppose to be. Just blended chocolate Tim Tam biscuits into the mixture so the whole thing looks brown, not white with black specks like it's suppose to be.)
Well, I'll see how this batch turns out. Must pass my own QC first before letting you guys try. Rest assured i will be ethical and totally professional in my R&D. Ginseng nutmeg soup i'll also try myself first. Anything happen i will kena. (haha... changjin got funny protruding ears that become translucent when the sun shines.)
Actually, i have to apologise about the nasi padang... So far every time i went back to Vj i ate the pork chop. =P Haha... next thursday i confirm eat the nasi padang for you. If i eat pork chop again i'll owe you another 5 bai wan.

i was watching channelnews asia on tv mobile yst. then they were making sorbet using dry ice. so cool! they got this dry ice machine in which they can turn then it will emit the cold fumes. then u just haf to keep stirring ur mixture vigorously. tadaa. then u get ur sorbet. it so easy to make but the prob is how to get dry ice?

i got 2 pprs tml! so sad. its a saturday somemore. mug until i damn saturated alr. bleahx.
i end my exams onli on 3rd may. bleahx. my exam period is so long from 20 apr to 3rd may. bleahx. then next week onli haf 1 ppr and next next wk 1 ppr. so suxy. but i am looking forward to the break! (: (:

Hmm. how do u actually make ice cream? nxt time can let me try abit... but later eat already stomachache how? haha~ :) i like cookies and creme... nxt time we meet up dun forget to bring abit... *grin*
Just sit in front of the computer with tub of home-made ice cream everyday. Man, i'm growing fat(ter).
And yes, i'm making ice cream. The current tub is experiment no. 12. My R&D is nearing completion. Moving into mass production phase. Tastes pretty good, even if i say so myself.
Looking for volunteer ice cream taster. Simple job, just have to eat. No prior experience required but preferably should at least know what ice cream is. Interested persons sign up here. If nobody volunteers i'm considering giving ice cream as birthday presents so be forewarned.
Just saw this old (11 years old) movie called Qing Shu (Love Letter). About this girl who wrote a letter to her dead fiance and actually got a reply (from heaven??). Turns out that due to her screw up the letter reached another girl with the same name as her fiance. And the movie is about the correspondence btw this two "pen pals". Sounds boring but it's a really simple yet effective story. The simplicity is what makes it so brilliant. Touching too.

haha! *hands up* i am going!! i am going!! see ya there! *waves*
i'm free until May 4 when the exam results are released, after which i'll know whether i get to enjoy the remaining 2 months or have to mug for supp paper.
One thing at a time. So i play first.
Thinking of learning driving, but no car no point. But then again won't have such a long break ever again so this is the best opportunity to learn. Main thing is lazy lah, got to go find out where to book lessons, test dates, etc. So ma fan.
Who got license already or taking lessons ah? Don't mind can point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Just had Biochem today.
Hoho.
Fishing fished up.
To be fair the paper was actually very do-able. Just dropped too many topics and ended up giving away simple recall questions.
4 marks to NAME an enzyme.
No idea what they were talking about.
One or two qns that were just plain impossible, not too worried about those.
"What defines the boundaries of different regions on a cell membrane?"
???

One anatomy + physio qn. (What's it doing in a biochem paper?)
Light microscopic features of cardiac muscle + Blood supply of the heart + Functional complication in cardiac muscle death.
No wonder there were no questions on the thorax yesterday.
Physio tomorrow. After this it's a long long break.
Provided i pass. =)
Btw, Allen is no longer artillery instructor. He's now an LTC's runner. Which means he literally runs errands for the officer. Must be because he abused his trainees. 3SG become runner... how does he justify his rank allowance? (which is more than double what i used to get, by the way)
Maybe he got demoted??

Goes to say that intelligence sources aren't all that intelligent after all. Shouldn't be too bothered by rumours. Must trust instincts. Either that or whack every single topic.
Rest of paper was okay, although not as familiar as my new found favourite joint. Copious quantities of smoke grenades were expended, naturally.
Reckon i've got solid answers to 2 of 6 questions. The rest of the answers all have smoky parts.
Shouldn't fail lah. =)

i got $100 from the government! For Full-time(?) National Service.
Yeah, it's debatable, but technically i'm still serving the nation full time, albeit in another way. I think of myself as being on course.
That sucks, doesn't it? i would be serving 8 years - 6.5 of those while on course. That includes BMT on Tekong (7 weeks) and my Basic Admin Supervisor course at G6 Kranji School of Manpower (1 day - from 0800 to 1700 including breakfast, lunch and tea break. Earned promotion to PTE after passing out.). Of course there will be the conversion course later on bcos my vocation is still Administrative Support (Wear blue beret you know... same as 3SG Allen and 2LT Zhiyuan =P)
Cute. haha... The letter from depot road freaked me out at first. Like what the fish... for what is cmpb writing to me for? Sure no good business... but now 100 bucks richer.
The rest of the guys will be getting it to... sorry ladies...
The previous post about me getting a zero for CA... well, i didn't. Haha... As it stands now i have 29% out of 40% from the CAs. Which means 21% from the remaining 60% to pass.
21/60 + safety factor = 50 marks for 1st Pros out of 100
(The safety margin is there bcos i have a hunch i'll still kena extinction viva and sup paper if i score the minimum 30++)
And why am i calculating this again?
Bcos Anatomy is tomorrow and all i have studied is the hip joint.

Anyway, intelligence sources indicate that the hip joint is not coming out this year. So i'm screwed big time.
Why?
Bcos the sky is so high, there's bird shit in your eye.
Basically i dunno. This crap happens every year and i'm somehow still alive. But i shan't tempt fate.
Off i go to salvage a hopeless situation.
Spotting 1 salivary gland, cavernous sinus/nasopharynx, glenohumeral joint, plus anyhow whack 1 qn each from thorax, abdomen and pelvis.
Update tomorrow on how badly i think i'll do.
