Ice cream news.
i'm not making ice cream anymore.
No, i'm not giving up on R&D. It's just that i realised the products can be more successful if i simply stop referring to them as "ice cream".
Yup. So i've been churning out batches of a new dessert this past week, with only minor tweaks to the ice cream recipe. Essentially more nuts, less fluid.
The result is a ball of nuts and dried fruit stuck together with chocolate - KukuNuts™.
And since no one has tasted KukuNuts™ before, people can't say that my product does'nt taste like KukuNuts™.
It's all about Expectations.

Yup, our schedule is different i think. Orientation was in Week O if i remember correctly.
Gastric flu ah?
It's actually gastroenteritis, not related to influenza virus. Usually caused by infection of the GIT, can be bacterial, viral or even due to parasites, like in food poisoning. The inflammation can cause diarrhoea or vomitting, leading to dehydration or malabsorption.
Some weird causes of gastric flu can also be antibiotics or chemotherapy. Antibiotics upset the balance of "good" and "bad" bacteria in the intestines, and the "bad" bacteria produce toxins that irritate the gut. Some forms of chemotherapy can damage the mucosa.
Treatment is usually to treat the infection lor... maybe antibiotics? Then there's anti-diarrhoea pills. Then rehydrate to treat dehydration. (This was covered by the GIT lecturer but i can't remember exactly, probably something with glucose and saline, i'm sure you know.)
Anyway, that's all i know. i'm only a lousy M1.5. (stuck between M1 and M2)

Hmm.... i think week 1 is aug 7. but week 1 is orientation week.. which only involves the freshies... so by right so be aug 14th. if i not wrong. yes.. it will be q a big joke... anyway. nus SURE will send email one.. i doubt they will so stupidly not inform their students which are having so much fun holiday-ing. but anyway, i tot med is diff from e rest one?

When does school reopen - August 7 or July 31? Can't seem to find that info anywhere. Missing the first week will be such a big joke.
Actually taking a break right now from mugging for advanced driving theory. Started driving lessons just last week. Quite fun. Realised motion sickness won't affect the driver no matter how f-ed up the driving. Made the instructor sick. Yay.
Biomed lessons at VJ are ongoing as usual. And whether i'm made to submit an ID at the gate depends on how i'm dressed. Verified this by purposely alternating between sloppy and smart appearances. 这个世界太注重外表了。Note to terrorists: Dress well.
Still owe Kuku BaO tonnes of typing i promised to do. Don't worry, i will deliver.
Oh well, enjoy what's left of the holidays, people. The guys will be counting down to ORD. Won't be able to see you in school next year though.
