haha.. e stupid things tat you guys have to do... haha. :) i am amused.
anyway.. e p hols are here. and guess wad? haha.. i have got a week of hols.. tats cuz e days of non-public hols coincide w e days i have got no sch... JEALOUS? haha.. i bet you are. :p
still. have to start studying already.. :S

Just got arrowed to act as a dead/half dead/somehow incapacitated guy/cadaver in some ministry of health mass casualty exercise/wayang at TTSH.
Oh well, at least i'll be carried around instead of the other way around. Just used 2 'around's in the same sentence. Sounds clumsy. i remember there was something said during GP about not using the same word more than once in a sentence. Not sure about that though. Can't remember.
Anyway, another plus is that breakfast will be provided (i think). Of course it also means that i'll have to turn up so early they don't think i'll be able to get breakfast anywhere else. Or they're planning to poison the breakfast so i don't have to act so much.
Ah, another thing. i just created a Kuku Club community in IVLE. Those interested in joining can mail me their userid so i can add them. Or maybe there's some way for you guys to add yourselves, i don't know. i managed to add jiacai without his consent by getting his matric no. from the school website. Nothing much to gain by joining really, haven't thought of what to do with it. But nothing much to lose either, except that the whole uni can see you're a Kuku Club member. i'm proud of my club, okay.
And lastly, cartoons. The scene with the blanket got snipped off in today's episode (ref. last Sunday's post). Double standard one, last season one never cut. (Shoots, i used 2 'one's.) Eh... my one... your one... Sounds natural when spoken but looks darn weird on paper (or on screen in this case). Must write more in Singlish to improve my command of the language.

hahaha. lately my internet super slow at certain times sometimes at night..tink my computer doesnt like me la..but haha lucky now can already..
hm exams coming soon..still got to do lab report..so troublesome..really miss those days when we can just finish up everything in the lab and hand it in on the spot..now still got discussion..and he doesnt tell us wat exactly to discuss about..argh..and i'll have to do this for another few yearS!
sem's gonna end soon..somehow i feel that i havent learnt much..for the arts modules i just go lect and listen story..tutorials just stone for 2 hrs..aiyo like that exam how?

Everyone's having exams. So xian...
Have to start mugging over the two holidays coming up. Trying to get the engine warm early but haven't had much success over the past 12 years. Not very efficient without adrenaline in the system.
I think one thing about personality typing is that it offers convenient excuses for how one behaves. Back in sec school i paid $30 for a test (it's the MBTI) that told me i'm a procrastinator that thrives on last minute work. Wonderful. Not very flattering but i won't have to feel bad about slacking. Good thing or bad thing to know? Sometimes i feel these conclusions might just be self-fulfilling prophecies. Who knows?
Anyway, my sec 1 teacher managed to predict the results with 100% accuracy so i could have just gone with her intuition and saved 30 bucks. haha.
Aiya... Must break out of this pattern leh...

The fact that the tests are not counted is why i'm so sad. Biochem and anat tests were upon 20 and 10 respectively.

hows everybody doing? can't remember when was e last time i blogged. but i think it was yonks ago right? hee.
been super stressed up and busy. sigh. pharmacy is.. :S competitive. madness. e average can be so high. AND prac everybody gets marks near e average mark. i think if do standard deviation.. only got like +/- 4 marks? tats where majority of e ppl will be. well. at least all my lab lessons ended... so my timetable is less packed. haha~ but i guess shud be using e time to study instead of relaxing.. :|
just had physio test today... 1 down.. 2 more to go... :S wish me luck! anyway. gwee lun.. laugh wad laugh.... ur tests aren't even counted la!!! dun study also nvm onez... u shud have gotten a big fat egg instead... :)

The English dubbing for GSD on Kids Central is very weird. Who in the world would say "They'll use us for target practice!" when he has just been ambushed and about to be shot very dead? If i were the script writer that line will read something like "We're &^%* going to @^$# die!!!!". But that's not going to come true anytime soon since the show is on the morning kiddy cartoon slot.
The show is pretty heavily censored already, with silent gaps in the dialogue, skips in the soundtrack and blackened out subtitles. (They missed one "damn" though in today's episode.) Why show it in the Sunday morning slot if it's so "kiddy unfriendly"? The way i see it, GSD is not really meant for children, but i can imagine it will be very good for selling model kits to kids. (Selling kits to kids. Quite a mouthful isn't it. Reminds me of the Rifle Cleaning Kid joke back on Tekong.)
Anyway, what gets snipped off comes across as being rather inconsistent. Last season, two characters were shown getting out of bed together, one in boxers and the other in a blanket. On a Saturday morning kiddy cartoon slot. Maybe the censors missed it because they were too caught up with hunting down the "damns". Or maybe my corrupt and sinful little brain read too much into an innocent little sleepover. Whatever it is, i'll find out next week in episode 5 when another innocent little sleepover occurs. This time it's a bath robe and a blanket. And the blanket is married, just not to the bath robe.
Let's see what the censors do about that.

It takes 10 - 45 min by bus (95 or nuh shuttle) depending on luck, i.e. how fast the bus comes, traffic conditions and whether can squeeze onto the bus in the first place.
Taking a simple average, the average bus travel time is (10+45)/2=27.5 min. (No matter how unscientific, just take it as is. Proving the result is not required for exams.)
Travelling time can be reduced by timing the bus trips to reduce waiting time. However, this is not possible without knowledge of the bus schedule. (On top of that, even if you know the bus schedule, the nuh shuttle is rarely on schedule.)
The average time can be used to approximate the expected travelling time when the bus schedule is not known.
A simple comparison will show that the expected travelling time by bus is 7.5 min longer than on foot. (Please note that travel time on foot is relatively invariant and can be assumed to be a universal constant multiplied by an environment and situation dependent coefficient unique to every individual.)
Therefore, i conclude, in summary, it can be seen from the above evidence, that walking is the healthier choice since it raises your energy output significantly.
